SSDs are extremely cheap now, you can get a 1TB sata SSD on Amazon for $80, and you can probably find even cheaper ones. I stopped using HDD completely years ago. It only takes a few seconds for Daz to open, and rarely more than 20 seconds to load even my most detailed characters with hundreds of morphs. I have this 2 TB NVMe specifically for Daz and my content library, along with a PCIe 4.0 compatible motherboard. I can't imagine how you get anything done if it takes 20 minutes to load a single character. And I'm very glad it uses Genesis 8 morphs, otherwise I'd be severely limited. I didn't mean to imply it was an entirely new figure, just a new version. There are plenty of places to talk politics, this is not that place.
